Adtech startup Journify raises $12 million Series A at fourfold valuation increase
Adtech startup Journify has raised $12 million in a Series A round led by Al Mada Ventures and co-led by Silicon Badia to expand into the US and Europe.
Ad signal infrastructure startup Journify announced on 3 November 2026 that it has raised $12 million in a Series A funding round completed at four times its previous valuation. The round was led by Al Mada Ventures and co-led by returning seed lead investor Silicon Badia. Existing backers Shorooq and Bunat Ventures also increased their investments in the company, while Du Ventures and Oraseya Capital joined as new investors.
First-party advertising data infrastructure
Founded in 2022 by Co-Founder and CEO Taoufik El Jamali alongside Co-Founders Amine Chouki and Omar Al Shoubaki, Journify is headquartered in San Francisco, California, and operates regional offices in Dubai and Riyadh. The company builds a privacy-first, real-time data layer designed to help performance marketers improve the quality and reliability of first-party customer signals used in advertising and measurement.
According to figures from dentsu cited in the announcement, global advertising spend will exceed $1 trillion in 2026, with algorithms expected to place three-quarters of that total by 2028. Because these automated systems learn from the customer outcomes that brands report back to them, browser restrictions, broken tracking and disconnected offline sales often leave advertising platforms with an incomplete picture of who buys.
Journify addresses this gap by connecting customer interactions and sales data across web, mobile, offline sales, CRM, ecommerce platforms, backend systems and data warehouses. Its software validates and enriches conversion events to activate consented signals server-side across platforms including Google, Meta, TikTok, Snap and Amazon Ads, making sure those networks see actual purchases, sign-ups and store sales. The platform also uses AI to continuously monitor every connection, detect signal-quality issues and resolve them.
Revenue growth and customer outcomes
Since Silicon Badia's initial investment, Journify has recorded more than fivefold revenue growth while increasing its valuation by more than fourfold. The company currently serves more than 100 businesses ranging from fast-growing ecommerce brands to some of the region's largest retailers, collectively representing hundreds of millions of dollars in annual ad spend. Among its customers in Saudi Arabia, retailer Jarir Bookstore increased its return on ad spend by 182%, while Saudi ecommerce brand Baytonia grew its return on ad spend by 80% and cut its cost per purchase by 44%.
"AI is transforming advertising, but the intelligence behind it is only as good as the signals it receives," El Jamali said. "Businesses know who buys, who comes back and what creates lasting customer value. Too little of that knowledge reaches the ad platforms driving their growth. Our vision is to close that gap, turning real customer outcomes into intelligence ad platforms can learn from. We're building toward a future where advertising AI understands what makes a customer valuable to each business, not just what makes them click."
Omar Laalej, Managing Director at Al Mada Ventures, said that as AI takes on a greater role in marketing, the connection between reliable customer data and the decisions built on it will become increasingly valuable. He noted that Journify builds that connection from the data layer up through a privacy-first foundation that can evolve into intelligence and action. Hossam Shafick, Partner at Silicon Badia, added that the company's revenue and valuation growth since its initial investment validated both the strength of its technology and the team's ability to execute at scale.
What happens next
Journify will use the Series A funding to expand beyond the GCC into the United States and European markets, as well as to strengthen the AI capabilities behind its platform for monitoring, detecting and fixing advertising data quality issues. In the United States alone, digital advertising revenue reached $294.6 billion in 2025, according to IAB and PwC.
To support its expansion, three-time Chief Revenue Officer Ryan Burke has been appointed to Journify's board. "I'm excited to help Journify scale in the biggest ad market in the world," Burke said, noting that he has known El Jamali since their InVision days. "Based on the success they're already seeing in the Middle East, it's not a question whether it works in the US, but how fast we can scale."
