IT Magazine is committed to accuracy. When we get something wrong, we correct it promptly and transparently.
How we handle corrections
- Factual errors are corrected in the article, with a dated note added at the foot of the piece explaining what changed.
- Material errors — a wrong company, person, figure or central claim — carry a correction note at the top of the article. If the premise of a story is wrong, we retract it with an explanation rather than quietly deleting it.
- We verify reader-reported errors against the original source before acting.
Request a correction
Email corrections@itmagazineme.com with the article link and the specific fact you believe is incorrect. We review every request.
